    Ever since man (and woman) walked this earth we have had to push, pull, drag and shove things, climb up and crawl under. Take your strength foundations one step further and put them into movements that are directly transferable to the real world - There are odd objects and awkward grip placements in the real world. There are minimal barbells used in this class, expect to be lifting and carrying balls and sandbags, pushing and pulling sleds and carrying oddly weighted materials.

    Ideal for those who get involved in a bit of labor work occasionally - landscape the garden, carry the shopping up stairs, help a friend move or play a contact sport. Strongman strengthens your core to the max and is beneficial for improvement in your regular training and all life situations!

    This class is by no means men only, women benefit equally if not more from learning correct lifting and carrying techniques for all kinds of objects, how to efficiently move such objects and do so safely.

    All the while, amongst all of this pushing, dragging, lifting and carrying, you will be surprised by how much of a workout this is for your lungs as well! This class is perfect for those who want to spice up their strength training by meshing in some functionality, come on, give it a go!

    All of our Group Personal Training classes and Strength and Conditioning sessions including these Strongman classes are run at our unique Personal Training, Group Personal Training and Performance Training studio at 17A Market Street in South Melbourne.

Training Hours

Training session times are able to be booked between 5:30am and 9pm Monday to Friday and between 6am and 12pm Saturday.
