"Fitness should be fun."
Working full-time as an electrician, Matt started working out as a social activity. But his focus and dedication to fitness quickly grew until people in the gym assumed he was a personal trainer. When this became a regular occurrence Matt realised a career change was probably in order.
Matt has a natural passion for helping others achieve their goals. From nailing one chin up to completing a triathlon, Matt’s clients have a variety of goals, each one unique to them. He wants to help everyone, but the thing that unites them all? A positive attitude and motivated approach.
Whether it’s trying a new exercise, overcoming a challenge or simply showing up for an early morning session, Matt believes that fitness should be fun. Expect a session with Matt to feature plenty of games and new exercises you haven’t tried before. He wants you to enjoy your training but he won't let that get in the way of you achieving your goals. And don’t worry, he’ll never ask you to do anything he can’t do himself.
Outside training, Matt enjoys rugby, jiujitsu, touch football, boxing and snowboarding. You might look at that and think he’s a jack of all trades. But really, Matt just loves giving things a crack. He’s learnt not to fear failure and wants to help others do the same.
